GMAT语法改错：竖读

在一些简短的题目当中，我们看完题干之后从何处着手快速解题呢?我们用一道例题来说明：

Efforts to equalize the funds available to school districts, a major goal of education reformers and many states in the 1970\'s, has not significantly reduced the gags existing between the richest and poorest districts.

A. has not significantly reduced the gaps existing

B. has not been significant in reducing the gap that exists

C. has not made a significant reduction in the gap that exists

D. have not significantly reduced the gap that exists

E. have not been significant in a reduction of the gaps existing

通过竖读，我们很快就发现了ABC用的是has，DE用的是have。那么我们很快的意识到有一个主谓一致的问题，到底谓语动词要用单数还是复数呢?我们还得回头找主语，主语是efforts，要注意的是a major goal是一个同位语不是主语。谓语动词应该用复数have，这样迅速排除了ABC，过程不超过20秒。

GMAT语法改错：找不同

那么剩下的两个选项我们应该如何找出正确选项呢?还是得依据我们做题的原则，原句合理的逻辑优先。虽然我们通过语法错误把它排除但是原句如果逻辑合理那么我们还是得依据原句的逻辑，原句的主干是efforts has not reduced gap-努力没有减少差距。然后我们来找DE选项的不同之处，D选项的主干是efforts have not reduced gap,E选项的主干是efforts have not been significant-努力是不重要的。由此我们选出正确的选项是D选项。

我们再看一道难题：

Even though Clovis points, spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces, have been found all over North America, they are named for the New Mexico site where they were first discovered in 1932.

A. Even though Clovis points, spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces, have been found all over North America, they are named for the New Mexico site where they were first discovered in 1932.

B. Although named for the New Mexico site where first discovered in 1932, Clovis points are spear points of longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces and have been found all over North America.

C.Named for the New Mexico site where they have been first discovered in 1932, Clovis points, spear points of longitudinal grooves chipped onto the faces, have been found all over North America.

D.Spear points with longitudinal grooves that are chipped onto the faces, Clovis points, even though named for the New Mexico site where first discovered in 1932, but were found all over North America.

E. While Clovis points are spear points whose faces have longitudinal grooves chipped into them, they have been found all over North America, and named for the New Mexico site where they have been first discovered in 1932.

一道全句划线的逻辑题一上来有些同学就会紧张：考逻辑了，逻辑语义题好难不知道怎么入手。难题一般通过竖读不能发现很明显的差别，我们不论做任何题目都是先看题干，去判断原句的逻辑是否合理。

首先我们大致看一下选项的差别，CD选项去掉了although这个词，去掉之后逻辑语义一定发生了变化，那么这个时候我们就要去判断原句的让步关系是否合理，原句的逻辑是尽管这个CP在全北美被发现，它还是以第一次被发现的新墨西哥洲为名。原句的让步关系合理，CD选项马上排除。然后通过我们MGAC的原则，逻辑优先，再排除BE选项，原句合理保留原句。
