My Spring Festival

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is also known as Chinese New Year. During this time, people usually have a long holiday and celebrate with their families and friends.

As for me, I always look forward to Spring Festival. It is a time when I can relax and enjoy myself. I usually go back to my hometown to celebrate with my family. We have a big feast on New Year’s Eve and watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. We also set off fireworks and firecrackers to welcome the new year.

During the festival, I also like to visit my relatives and friends. We exchange greetings and gifts. It is a time for us to catch up with each other’s lives and share our happiness.

Apart from that, I also enjoy the traditional activities during Spring Festival. For example, I like to make dumplings with my family. We also decorate our house with red lanterns and couplets. It is believed to bring good luck and fortune.
